Math Class Didn’t Show Its Work

Rebuilding Mathematical Confidence from Fractions to Calculus

Every chapter of the book, turned into four short illustrated demonstrations built from its own worked examples. Predict, change one value, and watch the picture and the numbers move together. Nothing is timed, and nobody is watching.

Nine dots shown two ways: as four pairs with one left over, and as a three by three square. 4 pairs, 1 left over: odd3 by 3: a square Same nine. Two different questions.

Chapter 1 begins here: one collection, sorted by a rule anyone can check.

How each demonstration works

Every demonstration follows the same path the book does, so you always know what comes next.

  1. Predict first

Read the question and the equation from the chapter, then make a guess. A wrong guess is useful.

  2. Change one value

Pick from a short menu. The picture and the numbers update together, starting from the book's own example.

  3. Read the work

Every state shows the calculation behind it, small enough to redo with a pencil.

  4. Check yourself

Try a new question, then open the answer. Each demonstration names the chapter section it came from.

Change and accumulation

You have already read functions, graphs, units, limits, and changing patterns. Calculus connects them.
